Review: Two nights by Kathy reichs

Two Nights by Kathy Reichs is her latest offering and does not disappoint. Reichs is the consummate plotter as is shown yet again in this stand alone thriller. Here she has moved away from physical anthropology and forensics with a new theme and protagonist. Sunday Night is a tough lady with a past to match. Ex-military, ex-police she is scarred both physically and mentally by a violent early childhood and fights her demons in concert with fighting to save a girl who has gone missing after an explosion killed her mother and brother.

It is written in a parallel period style which keeps the reader on edge and guessing until the final chapter. The style is vintage Reichs - crisp and beautifully written. It is very hard to put down and well worth picking up!
